Paying it forward…
When we were younger it seems that for most of us the main direction of our lives was ‘to make money’. To that end we are encouraged to ‘get an education’ in order to make as much money as we we can…. Which of course is never enough!!
The rationale is that the accumulation of wealth is a measure of personal success.
I have found, as the decades have rolled on by, that the acquisition of money provides at best only momentary comfort, while the real sense of being successful comes from the quality of relationships we have. This for me speaks to the quality of my family life, how my marriage is going and how are my children coping with this fast paced, everchanging and contentious world in which we all live.
So now I am older, and event that has happened so quickly, I am looking more at the legacy I will have generated. Throughout my years I have encountered both success and failures which have shaped the course of my life and in the process learned many lessons, both of what ‘works’ and that which doesn’t. By monetary standards I am at a place where I am ‘okay’ which I attribute to both the Grace of God and encountering people throughout my life who gave me the benefit of their experience from their own personal journeys.
So this website is really my own version of ‘Paying it Forward’ to those ‘who have ears to hear’…. that they may avoid some of the ‘pitfalls’ that caused me so much grief and distress; the ‘blind alleys’ that led me nowhere, the deceptions that, like fishing lures, vie for our attention yet entangle us in emotional grief and help them to make choices which will bring them the sense of having spent their time well.

ECOSYSTEM
Positive growth.
Nature, in the common sense, refers to essences unchanged by man; space, the air, the river, the leaf. Art is applied to the mixture of his will with the same things, as in a house, a canal, a statue, a picture.
But his operations taken together are so insignificant, a little chipping, baking, patching, and washing, that in an impression so grand as that of the world on the human mind, they do not vary the result.

Undoubtedly we have no questions to ask which are unanswerable. We must trust the perfection of the creation so far, as to believe that whatever curiosity the order of things has awakened in our minds, the order of things can satisfy. Every man’s condition is a solution in hieroglyphic to those inquiries he would put.
